In the wake of the global COVID-19 pandemic, RED worked closely with Alberta Innovates to quickly devise, brand and set up the technology for a virtual event to replace the annual live Inventures conference.
In conjunction with the stakeholder team, RED shortlisted technology platform options to deliver a virtual conference experience. Within two weeks of the pandemic being declared, we had a path forward from strategic marketing shifts to a complete virtual delivery process, including branding and infrastructure. The result was a successful 2-day virtual broadcast attended by more than 1,000 people, featuring over 30 sessions delivered live.
